      The Company.

Introduction

The privately owned company " Van Der Spek Nv/Sa " was founded in 1961. In that year, the company became the main agent in Belgium for LIEBHERR tower cranes followed by batching plants, truck mixers, mobile cranes, fast erecting cranes and crawler cranes.
Over the years, a number of new products have been added to the range, names like MABER hoisting lifts and climbing platforms, KLEEMANN REINER crushing and screening plants, CRANE CLIMBER crane drive cages,   AJAX 6T portable cranes and FUCHS loading machines, as well as a number of services, including repair, rebuild and refurnish. The company also relocated from Brussels to its present site at Ternat.
Van Der Spek has developed itself over the last 40 years into a company that is synonymous with the highly specialized activity of vertical lifting and products like ready-mix concrete batching plants and truck mixers.

Activities.

Apart from sales, the company has its own rental fleet with over 400 tower cranes and fast-erecting cranes, and a very specialized and well-structured rebuild, repair and remanufacturing plant.

Vertical lifting in its diversity is a passion and a profession for Van Der Spek Nv/Sa, and has been for over 40 years! We are a specialist in full knowledge of the facts. This know-how is honed every day by practical experience and training.

Quality, safety and the environment.

In general, the company is dealing with equipment that weighs hundreds of tons and can be over 300 meters high. Quality and safety requirements are of the greatest importance.
Van Der Spek keeps a very close watch on whether the instructions and procedures laid down in the ISO 9001 certificate are being followed. Users and distributors are given detailed training in working with enormous cranes and lifts, both from the safety and the service viewpoint.
For checking all the aspects relating to the environment, there is a specific environment service.

Service.
